Outdoor String Lights - 49ft

I just received my XMCOSY Outdoor String Lights! I was pleasantly surprise the packaging and contents were in perfect condition. All the bulbs were installed making it easy to try them out right away. All the bulbs worked and were brighter that i envisioned. The design and manufacturing seem very well done! Also, the instructions were well printed, detailed and seem easy to follow. I'm going to download the fee IOS app and proceed with the installation. I like that you an remotely control the color, brightness, and pattern and even set up a timer schedule with the app.I'll write another review after i have them installed and i get to enjoy them.

After reading many, MANY reviews of how much trouble customers were having getting this XMCozy string unit to pair, I was apprehensive about purchasing this. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy pairing was. I guess the big hurdle is making sure you are pairing it to your 2.4 ghz wifi (I use my 2.4 as a guest network for guests and all these wifi gadgets). It took about 20 seconds to pair. It took about 5 seconds for Google home to find it and add it to my list. Very pleased.One thing I was not expecting was that stringing cable and clamps were included!!! The app works as intended. The only criticism I have (at this point) is the length from the on/off power box to the first light is about 2.5 feet. That's a little short.I will do a follow up review once I get them strung up and finalized.

We ordered these in September and plugged them in to make sure they worked. We hung them the end of November to use for Christmas. They worked three nights in a row. Then, one of the bulbs was no longer working!!! They do not have as many options for light sequences as they lead you to believe. If you choose the red and green option, for example, there’s no way to have them blinking. I was already disappointed that I couldn’t choose my colors with a sequencing option and then we had one bulb not lighting. That being said, their CUSTOMER SERVICE is fabulous!!! They sent us a replacement set which are functioning. They are easy to install and it's nice to be able to schedule them to go on and off automatically and all through your phone.

The setup of lights can blend in on the warm white mode and then change colors for outdoor parties! This set of color lights matches the bulb and cord style of my existing set of warm white cafe lights purchased from the members warehouse club! The color cafe lights at the club were priced close to this xmcosy set but did not have the app or Alexa integration. I used the tuya and not xmcosy to pair and setup this string of lights. Once configured I was able to change the lights using the color wheel and use the preset color patterns like red white blue for America, christmas is red and green, and the chasing, fading, and strobe patterns. The Alexa integration allows you to turn on and off the lights by speaking to the echo dot and set the brightness.

I had an issue after about 8 months (2 lights wouldn't change color, control box stopped working due to water). I emailed their customer service and Max made it right. They promptly replaced the problematic units, and gave me a coupon to buy a special extension cord so that the control box would be out of the sun/rain. He also commented that a new version would be out soon that should be more permanently waterproof.I have never been so impressed by a company's customer service team. Super highly rated seller. A++.
