The camera is powered by using your home's existing doorbell wiring (16V-24V) and is compatible with existing traditional mechanical and electronic digital chimes to provide surveillance of all front door activity in high definition 2K (4-Megapixel) resolution. This home security camera features an extra-wide 164 viewing angle allowing you to cover every angle. This doorbell is not battery-powered.

Excellent door bell camera

Pretty easy to install. A few months ago I tried Amcrest's previous doorbell camera, which looked like a rebranded Ring doorbell and it did not work with my bell nor the Amcrest software. This one works with both! Great image quality and had a few options for position. One downside for me is the lack of ability to web into it like other Amcrest models to make adjustments to the on screen clock and logo. Overall very happy with this one.

AMAZING Picture Quality!

Fantastic doorbell camera! Huge improvement over the 1080 version. Its sleek and quite a bit smaller than the previous model. Picture quality is amazing, field of view is wide and covers the entire front yard and driveway. They also added a feature to detect humans only, totally cuts down on the false motion alerts from wind and other objects.

nice camera

I replaced a doorbell camera from Alarm.com. That camera had way too many false positives. With the camera and the Amcrest Smarthome app I have all the same features and more that I had with Alarm.com, but much more control over the alert area. Blue Iris integration was no problem. I am very please with this camera.

Great value for an excellent product!

The unit has a nice wide angle of view, that is not distorted or heavily fish-eyed. The unit is easy to setup and quick to respond for viewing events. I like the human detection option over the basic motion detection. The motion detection fields are easily adjusted. Connecting to wiFi is automated in the app and it reconnects when power or wiFi has gone out.The price is a great value for an excellent product!

Excellent Camera

Easy to install and understand. The quality and pictures are crisp. It functions as stated. Very good quality and easy to use. Picks up motion and relay to my phone very quick. Highly recommend this product.
